Entry-Level Structural Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team in Boise, Idaho.
This role is ideal for a new graduate eager to apply their degree to real structural engineering projects while learning to work within the boundaries of budgets and deadlines. You will work and learn under the direct supervision of licensed professional engineers in a small office setting, developing skills in report preparation, designs, plans and specifications, construction observation, and construction administration, with an emphasis on personal and career development.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Analysis Support
Assist licensed PEs in structural analyses, designs, and evaluations across a range of real-world projects.
Documentation
Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
Project Participation
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and construction administration to gain hands-on experience.
Collaboration
Bring a teamwork-focused attitude and strong communication skills to every project in a full-time, in-office setting.
Professional Development
Expand your knowledge through on-the-job training, direct mentorship, and project feedback.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Must have completed and passed Statics with a solid grasp of the concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Teamwork-focused attitude and eagerness to learn.
Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
Bonus for familiarity with structural design software (RISA Suite, Enercalc, Bluebeam), which will set you apart from other applicants.
Compensation and Benefits
This Boise-based role offers competitive compensation (based on experience), starting at $75k with a $3k sign-on bonus for direct applicants.
Comprehensive benefits include healthcare (100% of employee premium covered), dental, vision, life insurance, flexible PTO, nine paid holidays, and a 401(k) with 6% company match.
