Position Summary
We are seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) with 4+ years of experience to join our structural engineering team in Boise, Idaho.
In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and construction of structural systems across a wide range of projects. This position is ideal for engineers who want to take ownership of their work, contribute to innovative, code-compliant solutions, and continue developing across multiple sectors.
As a small firm, this role offers direct access to leadership and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both project outcomes and team development. It is best suited for engineers who want to grow technically, expand their responsibilities, and avoid being limited to a narrow scope of work.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
P.E. license required; S.E. license is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of structural engineering experience, including experience in the design of residential, commercial, industrial, and/or component projects.
Proficiency with structural design software (RISA Suite, Revit, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Design & Analysis
Lead structural design and analysis of buildings and structural systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Documentation
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Site Visits
Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and guide project execution.
Mentorship
Support and mentor junior engineers, contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
Innovation
Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and systems to support practical and forward-thinking design solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
This Boise-based role offers competitive compensation (based on experience), a $5K sign-on bonus for direct applicants, and comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, dental, vision, and life insurance.
